Cricket, lovely cricket

Today was the final ODI between the West Indies and India; however, India had already won the series. Long story short the West Indies pulled off a win.

Going to watch cricket at Sabina is; however, much more than what happens on the field. It is meeting up with friends, a little friendly rivalry between WI and Indian fans, the overall atmosphere in the stands. It is about seeing kids with their parents, especially the daddies and their daughters. It is about the man in the stands that kept shouting “rubbish” when Sarwan stayed on the field instead of retiring hurt.

That is why even though in recent times the WI, in my opinion, do not deserve to have fans in the stands I still go to watch.
