Countdown to Calabash 2014

The Calabash International Literary Festival begins tomorrow in Treasure Beach! If you did not have time to make arrangements for accomodation the Knutsford Express will be providing a shuttle on Saturday and Sunday.

I am looking forward to seeing and hearing the poets, including our very own Poet Laureate – Prof. Mervyn Morris who will read with 3 other Jamaican poets on Saturday morning. I am sure the conversation with Sir Salman Rushdie will be interesting and having listened to a little Akala, I am looking forward to seeing him as well. It will be a great weekend so see you there!
